      In order to explore the influence of the laying parameters of the salt drainage pipe on the water and salt dynamics and desalination effect of farmland, three levels of the spacing of the salt discharge pipe were set up at 20(W1), 30 m(W2)and 40 m(W3), and two levels with a buried depth of 1.2 m(D1)and 1.5 m(D2), a total of 6 experimental plots, and the open ditch drainage(CK)was used as the control, and the water and salt of the soil profile of each plot irrigated twice in winter and spring in 2023 were continuously monitored. The temporal and spatial variation of water and salt in the soil profile under different laying parameters of the salt drainage pipe was studied, and the influence of the laying parameters of the dark pipe on the soil desalination effect after winter and spring irrigation was analyzed. The results showed that the soil moisture content and soil salinity showed a trend of W1 < W2 < W3 < CK and D2 < D1 < CK of the dark pipe after irrigation and leaching in winter and spring. The moisture content of each treatment soil profile gradually increased from top to bottom, and the salt content of soil profile gradually decreased from top to bottom. The average soil salt content decreased significantly during the irrigation period and increased during the non-irrigation period. The desalination rate of 0-60 cm soil in each dark tube treatment was between 36.52%-64.61%, and the W1D2 treatment was the highest, which was 36.03 percent points higher than that of CK. The salt content of the soil before and after the two leaching curves could be fitted by the salt leaching curve, and the larger the buried depth and the smaller the spacing of the dark tubes, the better the soil leaching effect. According to the salt leaching effect of the soil, the appropriate spacing of the dark pipes in the study area is 20 m and the buried depth is 1.5 m, which can provide a theoretical basis for the rational layout of the salt drainage pipes in the arid area.
