Research interests
He has long been working on soil fertilizer and agricultural environment. Current research is also focusing on about "the Cooperative Network of Gansu Province Soil Fertilizer Long-term Positioning", with 30 research programs finished, now, he is undertaking 5 research projects, and one of them (Integrated Demonstration of Eco-efficient Technology of Agricultural and Pastoral Tourism Organic Waste in Qilian Mountain, Gansu Province) supported by the National key Research and Development Program.
Achievements
He is the awardee of "Leading Talents" and "555" Innovative Talents of Gansu Province. He has won 3 prizes of Second prize of Progress in Scientific Technology of Gansu Province, 4 prizes of Third prize of Progress in Scientific Technology of Gansu Province, 1 prize of Third prize of patent of Gansu Province, 1 prize of Second prize of Progress in Scientific Technology of Gannan state of Gansu Province. Such as :
★Second prize of Progress in Scientific Technology of Gansu Province:
1-Application Popularization and Development of Special Fertilizer for Tomato, Cucumber and Pepper.
2-The key Technologies Research and Application of Agricultural Waste Resource Utilization in dry area of Gansu Province.
3-Research and demonstration of Circular Agriculture Technology system in Oasis and Yellow River Irrigated Area.
★Third prize of Progress in Scientific Technology of Gansu Province:
1-Development of Special Fertilizer for Wheat weeding, controlled release of corn, disease prevention of cotton, capsule fertilizer of flower.
2-Research on near-infrared speed measurement technology for quality and safety of agricultural products.
3-Research on Fertilizer structure in the higher-yielding area of Hexi.

He owned 8 Patent inventions and also established more than 18 provincial standards. He published 3 academic books and over 90 papers in international and national journals.
