Li Yu-rui is an associate professor at Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR), Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests are agricultural geography, land engineering, rural development, and poverty alleviation. He has published one book and over 100 papers, which mainly explored the spatial pattern and mechanism of rural development, and rural land use and consolidation in recent China. In 2018, he was selected as one of outstanding young talents for the high-level scientific and technological innovator program organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources. And in 2020, he was selected as Clarivate Analytics ‘Highly Cited Researcher’ in the field of Social Sciences. Currently, he is serving as Member of Editorial Board of Habitat International and Land.
