| Abstract: |
| In order to explore the status, source and spatial distribution of heavy metal pollution in the cultivated land around a mining area in Yunnan, a total of 75 soil samples were collected from the study area, and the contents of 8 heavy metals As, Cr, Cu, Cd, Ni, Pb, Hg and Zn were determined. The Nemerow comprehensive pollution, potential ecological risk and geoaccumulation index were used to evaluate the status of soil heavy metal pollution. The ArcGIS inverse distance weight interpolation method was used to draw the spatial distribution map of soil pollution. Principal component analysis(PCA)and PMF model were used to explore the sources of heavy metals. The results showed that the average contents of the eight heavy metals in the study area were 1.07~9.83 times of the soil background value of Yunnan Province. The spatial distribution of heavy metals was uneven, and the spatial distribution of Zn, As, Hg, Cd and Pb was similar. The average value of the Nemerow composite index was 5.51, which was at the level of severe pollution, and the decreasing trend of the geoaccumulation index was Cd>Pb>Cu>Hg>Zn>Cr>Ni>As, and the heavy metal Cd was heavily polluted and accumulated significantly in the soil. The overall ecological risk was at a high ecological risk level, and Cd and Hg were the main contributing factors, with contribution rates as high as 60.50% and 23.09%, respectively. The results of source analysis showed that As and Cd were mainly from industrial sources(24.17%). Cr, Cu and Ni were the main parent sources(35.26%). Hg and Zn were mainly from agricultural sources(25.48%). The Pb mainly came from the mixed source of atmospheric traffic(15.09%). |
