| Abstract: |
| The paper provides a brief overview of the research areas covered in the papers published in the Journal of Agro-Environment Science in 2024. It particularly reviews the papers published in the fields of soil environment, non-point source pollution, and agricultural product safety. Based on the author's understanding of the current status of agricultural environmental science research, the following points are emphasized：（1）We should pay more attention to the integration and use of agricultural environmental monitoring data obtained from different monitoring systems;（2）Make full use of the data accumulated from existing projects on the safe utilization of heavy metal-contaminated soils to refine the environmental quality standards for heavy metals in agricultural soils;（3）Strengthen research on the longterm effects of residual agricultural films and multiple pesticide residues in the environment. |
