Abstract: |
Combined arsenic and cadmium pollution has become a major environmental problem causing wide concern. Modified nano zero-valent iron(nZVI)has great potential in the remediation of combined pollution from As and Cd. This paper reviewed the main modification strategies, summarized the materials of nZVI, and described the research progress and key mechanisms of modified nZVI for remediation of arsenic and cadmium co-contaminated water and soil. Finally, constructive suggestions for the future direction and challenges of modified nZVI research were provided. |
