Nitrogen oxides are key contributors to atmospheric pollution, driving global climate change and ozone pollution. With the intensification of global agricultural activities, emissions of nitrogen oxides from agricultural soils have significantly increased, becoming a critical environmental issue that requires urgent attention. This paper systematically reviews the spatiotemporal characteristics of nitrogen oxide emissions from agricultural soils, explores the driving factors and underlying mechanisms of these emissions, and discusses feasible mitigation technologies. Furthermore, the paper outlines the major challenges and issues encountered in nitrogen oxide reduction in agriculture, providing theoretical support and direction for the development of future mitigation policies and technological innovations. |
