为深入理解富勒烯(Fullerene,nC60)的水生生态毒理效应,以模式动物大型蚤(Daphnia magna)为研究对象,研究nC60对大型蚤的48 h和72 h急性毒性效应以及21 d慢性毒性效应。结果表明,急性暴露下,nC60对大型蚤的48 h半抑制浓度(EC50)和半致死浓度(LC50)分别为25.3 mg·L-1和28.5 mg·L-1,72 h的EC50和LC50分别为14.9 mg·L-1和16.3 mg·L-1,且大型蚤的跳跃频率和心跳频率随着在nC60中暴露时间的延长先增加后减少;慢性暴露下,1 mg·L-1的nC60即可对大型蚤的繁殖产生影响,21 d内总产蚤数和平均产蚤数分别为53.3个和0.3个,与对照相比明显降低。研究结果表明,无论急性还是慢性暴露下,nC60均显著抑制大型蚤的生长和繁殖,其水生生态毒性不容忽视。 |

The toxicity of fullerene(nC60) on aquatic organisms has received increasing concerns due to its proliferated applications and the increasing occurrence potential in water environments. The present study evaluated the acute and chronic toxicity of nC60 in a model animal, zooplankton Daphnia magna, using immobilization and mortality as the observation endpoints. The 48 h and 72 h EC50 values of nC60 were 25.3 mg·L-1 and 14.9 mg·L-1, respectively, and the LC50 values were 28.5 mg·L-1(48 h) and 16.3 mg·L-1(72 h), respectively. Moreover, nC60 exposure led to increasing hop and heartbeat frequencies of D. magna in the initial experiment stage, while the hop and heartbeat frequencies decreased with longer exposure time. During chronic exposure, the reproduction of D. magna was significantly repressed at the concentration of 1 mg·L-1. A significantly decrease of the total yield and the average yield of D. magna was observed after 21-d exposure. These results suggested that the leakage of nC60, could pose risks to the aquatic animals such as D. magna, which indicated that the aquatic toxicity of nC60 should not be ignored. |
