Effects of rape green manure returned to field on saline alkali soil improvement in Xinjiang. In this experiment, three treatments of rapeseed green manure were set up on the moderately saline and alkaline wasteland: 1 year (T1), 2 years (T2) and no green manure returning to the field (CK) to study the effects of rapeseed green manure on the physical and chemical properties of saline soil, salt composition and cotton yield. The results showed that the effect of turning pressure of rape green manure was T2>T1>CK. Compared with CK, T2 and T1 treatment increased cotton seed yield by 27.5% and 13.5% respectively. The pH value and conductivity of T2 were 11.2% and 0.715 mS/cm lower than CK, the total nitrogen, total phosphorus and total potassium of T2 increased by 44.8%, 9.1% and 6.5%; The content of saline-alkali ions in the soil was significantly reduced by crushing rape green manure. Compared with CK, the content of salt composition Ca2+, K+, Mg2+, Na+,Cl—,SO42—, CO32—and HCO3—decreased by 38.4%,77.6%,61.9%,45.7%,67%,58.3%, 46% and 37.1%, respectively. The results indicated that rape green manure could improve the the physical and chemical properties of soil, increase nutrient content and reduce saline-alkali ion content, and had a good effect on saline-alkali soil improvement in Xinjiang oasis arid area. |
